Founded in Kawaguchi, Japan in 2001, Marutama Ra-men was created with a clear vision — to craft a bowl of ramen that people from all over the world can enjoy.
At the heart of Marutama is its signature chicken paitan broth, developed from a simple yet distinctive idea: using chicken, one of the most universally appreciated ingredients across cultures. Through careful preparation and slow cooking, the broth achieves a rich, creamy texture with a clean and balanced finish.
Over the years, Marutama Ra-men has been embraced by customers across Japan and internationally, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Canada, and Australia.
Marutama arrived in Singapore in 2007, introducing a different style of ramen — one that is lighter, yet deeply satisfying. Today, we continue to refine our craft while expanding our presence, bringing our signature bowl to more communities.
Beyond ramen, we focus on consistency, quality, and the overall dining experience — from freshly prepared dishes to attentive service — ensuring every visit is both comforting and memorable.
